I am an 'E-Questrian'

Hi, my name is Chris. I am a self-dubbed 'e-questrian' and one of the founding members of the cryptidRacing Collective on ZED RUN. Together, with my buddy Ian, we manage one of the first professional stables on the platform. Yes, you read that right- it's our full-time job. I'll be honest; it's still a little strange to think of ourselves as 'e-questrians'. We've only begun to understand the game's mechanisms on a deep level, but it's hard not to get excited about what the future can be.

You could say we're bullish if we're willing to devote a '9–5' time to the education and- ultimately - the perfection of ZED RUN. Admittedly, we could also be walking into the biggest mistake of our lives. There are factors in our control, such as the horses we select for our stable and how/whom we breed. Then there are factors outside our control, such as the price of Ethereum, the continued growth of the ZED user base, and the ability of VHS to continue to meet those challenges. There's F.U.D. (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt), and then there's making sure you understand the ins and outs of a product before you invest. I certainly hope - and believe - my partners and I are geared more towards the latter. This is truly an exciting space and an exciting time for us to be launching our brand. However, I would be remiss if I didn't highlight the risks of our business strategy. In short, if you're new to the game, do your homework. Understand what can go wrong and plan for it happening. The best thing about ZED RUN is the readily available amount of community tools. It's your investment make sure to educate yourself and make an informed decision.

One of my favorite professors in college once told me that they never had an original idea. Instead, they were just the amalgamation of the originality of others. There are so many sources of ZED knowledge, and I try to consume them all, I end up feeling the same way. My intention with this blog is to share our journey towards making this a real profession. We want to offer takes on breeding strategies and occasionally chime in on ZED-related news. But ultimately we too are an amalgamation of the community and our words should be seen as such. This is only the beginning, and we're so glad you're here with us.

From us and the rest of the C.R.C. team, thank you for taking the time to check us out and listen to our small take on the ZED universe.

Hooves Up!
